How can i reset-up windows xp?

my windows cant boot up, i have tried to repair it using fixboot command then chkdsk /p in the recovery console but still. it doesnt work...

Try safe mode.

When booting, as soon as you see the POST stuff (and really, as soon as it powers), start hitting F8 repeatedly until you get that menu.

It might be the F6 key, don't remember.
