I've been studying lateral area in Geometry and I don't know what the definition of it is. Does anyone know?

is the area of each individual side of a any 3 dimensional figure, y plane figures u look for area, in 3 dimensional figures you do the same look for area but so many times as sides have the 3 dimensional figure ( not use the base)luis.barriento@gmail.com

LA is the area of the sides, excluding the base or bases.

lateral area is the surface area of any 3D base but excluding the area of any base.......
