i dont know .. Lately i've been reading that latino is .. all countries south of the US .. that is called Latin America.. which i dont understand b/c you cant compair all those countries .. Many of the countries are mixed with Indian .. but then there is Brazil thats just like the US.. most of them came from europe and africa .. then theres Belize who were colonized by the British .. they speak english..

I've always thought Latino was anyone from a country that speaks a Latin .. or Romance language..

Yes, so are Italians, French, Spaniards, and Rumanian. These countries were all Latin(o) speaking a long time ago. The Roman Empire brought Latin to them.

They are usually considered white. Even though they have a Latin based language which would make them Latino.

Latinos are people who speak a form of Latin. Portuguese speak Portuguese, which is a form of Latin, so yes.
