Korey Stringer, Minnesota Vikings, 2001
Eraste Austin, University of Florida, 2001
Rashidi Wheeler, Northwestern, 2001
Steve Bechler, Baltimore Orioles, 2003

For all four the direct cause of death was heat stroke, but each had amphetamines in their systems at the time, and for each, those PED's were the real cause of death.

Each of these young men were otherwise healty, and would still be alive today if they hadn't bought into the idea of using PED's.

If you're looking to disprove the idea that PED's are dangerous, you've come to precisely the wrong place.

Charlie Parker- Jazz
Adolf Hitler
Anthony Eden- British Prime Minister
Judy Garland-actress "Wizard of Oz"
Lenny Bruce-comedian

Not all of these people died from amphetamines but they are at least famous users. Here is the link I found http://www.thegooddrugsguide.com/articles/famous_users/amphetamines.htm
