You can't force someone to be something they are not. That's like saying "When gay rights are passed will more people be gay?" The only thing restricting gay rights will do is keep the hateful radical religious right happy and the gay society fighting to be recognized as equal.

Of course not. Gay rights have been restricted for years and years but it didn't force anyone to be straight so far.

The answer is that no one can make any one change their sexual preference. For example, all throughout history, people have been sent to prision, tortured and had hate crimes acted against them, and yet still people have gone on loving the people who they choose to love. One thing about human beings is that we have this innate sense of autonomy and freedom of thought, even if we are in extremely oppressive environments.
Also, remember the book and film 1984. In this story, people risked being killed for love. 1984 is an example, of how people still manage to express their love even in dictatorships and extremely oppressive environments.
Many thounsands of people throughout time, history and other oppressive cultures, have still managed to take the risk for love.
What makes humans sit in their cages and dream of freedom? Human beings cannot have their thoughts restricted or taken away. No one can force anyone else into "being straight". Even though, culture and history have tried through making it so oppressive to be different in a world where difference is seen as a "threat" to social order. Ask an artist, can he/she be forced to be an accountant? Ask a writer, can he/she be forced to be a prision guard? There have been revolutions fought for freedom, liberty and human rights. There will always be these revolutions. As long as humans have the capacity to be autonomous over their own thoughts and personal freedoms and even when these things are taken away, we still manage to love.

No - I can't make myself NOT bisexual just like gays can't make themselves NOT gay. It's has to do with the development in the womb and the mother's testosterone levels, which can be influenced by having a kid after another is born (except for twins, unless the twins are born after another sibling).

Doing so will only cause rebellion against the US, because the US can't force us to be how they want us to be. I would fight for my rights, like many others.

don't be ridiculous. you can't change who you innately are. did restricting the rights of those that are black make them not black? did restricting women from voting make become men? there are already plenty of bigoted laws on the books...it's not going to magically "change" people into becoming someone they are not. and like the ridiculous, racist, chauvinistic, bigoted laws of the past....they will one day be overturned when enough people see how hateful they are.
and reposting the same question isn't going to get you different answers, either. people with common sense will just tell you again how idiotic this question is.

No. It would just mean we will continue to fight for our rights. Which I am sure people would try and restrict gays to the point to where 2 men or 2 women can not live together..
It will not turn me str8, I am going to me regardless of who it p1sses off.

Not likely. People can't be forced how to feel so easily, especially not with sexuality. Restricting it wouldn't do anything because people are going to feel how they're going to feel. It's just something you'll have to deal with, I guess...

You can't "make" people gay or straight. Force someone to be straight??? Thats just silly.

Yes they’ll all be straight by the end of the week. Go to bed now or you’ll end up having gay nightmares.
