A domain name is a name you choose and register so no one else can use it. An example would be www.yahoo.com. The domain name usually becomes the address of a web site, just like www.yahoo.com is the address to that web site. When you type it in, you are sent to that web site.
Think Domain Name = Telephone number
Website = the telephone with that number.

Watch out for people who answer questions without knowing the answer.

A website name could be cms07.110mb.com, a domain (beside being costly) would be cms07.com
