Not that I want to be one. I do know a hacker also gets paid good money. Is a hacker mainly a nerd or for anyone, good looking or otherwise? What special software and hardware is needed?

Becoming a hacker is as difficult as becoming a programer.

Yes, while it is not good to hack, some hackers hack for fun such as in computer games especially the ones played in multiplayer.

There looks depend on themselves, if I decided to become a hacker right now it would no make me look better or worse.

While the hackers may be doing it for fun, it isn't any fun for those being targeted. Many of them try to take out whole networks just to see if they can. Others send out viruses that destroy thousands of computers in a short time. Hackers are as bad as the predators that troll the internet looking for vulnerable targets.

The answers to your questions don't matter because hacking people's computers is unjustifiable and immature. Hackers are so beneath us that I don't give two cents if they're nerds or not or whatever.

I would guess it is a very talented person that knows computers and software language to perfection. These are very intelligent people. Is it done for fun? I suppose, if you consider fun to be to break into peoples private lives, ruin their property, steal their money and identities, and basically devastate people's lives.

If that is fun, then I would say they are intelligent, and very sick people. They should be using their knowledge for good, not evil.
