Can I add about 2 male and 3 female guppies in with my dwarf grouami, 3 white skirt tetras, a rubber lip pleco, and a african dwarf frog? Will anything in here nip their tail fin?

I don't see any problem at all. Some tetras can be a bit nippy, but it's rare and shouldn't be a problem.

With 25 gallons, you will definately be fine. The rule with guppies is 3 females to every male, so if you attempt to keep this ratio, you shoudl be more than fine. However, since your tank is rather large (for guppies), you might be able to get away with a 2 to 1 ratio. The main issue with male and female guppies is not aggression, but the males pestering the females so much. Be careful with aggression, and watch for it, but I've never had problems with guppies. They generally seem to be peaceful, and your other fish should take care of any babies they would have, so they won't overpopulate your tank.

Sure,no problem. But a couple more females would be even better. The two males will pester the three females incessantly, and a couple more females would help to spread the pestering around. Add the five fish and watch carefully to see if I'm not right. -------PeeTee

The tetras may try to nip them as most tetras tend to be on the nippy side.

nO, don't add 2 male guppies together in the same tank, in animals there exist a word called COMPETITION the stronger guppy of yours may kill the other one. If u will only add one guppy there might be no problem...good luck!!!!

you can, but most likely your gups will be pregnant when you buy them, but all the fish will be happy to eat the fry if you let them. What size if your tank?
