Love and to have lost than to never have loved at all?

For example: if you never fell in love, you wouldn't know what it feels like to have a broken heart and you would live life alright and not untrusting of other people who come into your life. If you did fall in love and lost that love in one way or another, you're gonna ache the rest of your life and have a bunch of "what if's" going on in your head.

I can kinda see how it would be good to have fallen in love once but the heartache of losing that someone is kinda hard to bare, isn't it?

Just looking for opinions. For some reason this popped into my head while I was doing a Sudoku puzzle and I just had to ask it on here! :)

thanks

ever seen "40 year old vergin"? that is what lif is like with no love or loss! I have been burned time and tim again, and though each time it hurt me SOOO bad, I kept hoping and now my dreams have come true, I am with a wonderful man who loves me, and showes it every moment for the last two years.

Think of it like a baby...they have to fall to know it hurts, but they learn to walk anyway, and then they do not understand what it means that fire s hot until they toutch it, then they learn never to do it again....each time you have a heart break (though it hurts) you move on and try never to make the same mistake again. I was hurt 3 times all in different ways, but it was all worth it because it made me who i am today and my boyfriend loves me for me.... Life is about learning...when you stop yourself from learning you loose hope and hope is a GREAT thing to live for...

Oh love and lost for sure. As the saying goes, what ever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. It's the same as having kids, unless you have done it yourself, you're just not qualified to have an opinion about any of it.

o.k you are kinda of right but think of this first, if you never love someone, then you wouldn't expiriance the feeling of love, how to love someone the passion, and well yeah you night get your hearth broken, but that doesn't mean you have to shut down, plus you already try it, and if you never love and die alone you'll fell empty in the inside, to never have kids, a family someone who loves you and waits you at home. of course you have friends that will like you but not someone that will love you. remember that.

Trust me, only a moron falls in a pit twice. In other words, I would never, ever fall in love again. It has been once and it will always be once...

Well, they both suck either way...it's like anything else in life, a risk. You choose to take it or not!
