Its been that way for a long time. They have campaigned on "I'm not the other guy" for as long as I can remember. Clinton's platform, "I feel your pain" made the women and wimpy vegitarian Liberals melt but what kind of solution is that. "I'll make your life easier" its all feel good platitudes with no real solution offered.

They want to be in charge but have nothing constructive to offer. You know, like little kids who do all in their power to pull the doers down because that is the only way they can be recognized. Such a pity some people are so ignorant they did not outgrow this pettiness.
The name of their game is 'win by any means', lies, slander, bad mouthing, blaming others and doing nothing, standing for nothing. Oh, how the list goes on.
If we the people allow this to continue we are doomed.

Short answer yes. Long answer the dems want to put in place a socialist type of government where they can tell u what to do, say, think, etc. I am also an independent. Most Republicans want to support the war, but try to help the people. Neither will do anything about the border, no matter what they say

Would you rather more young Americans die day after day and no end to a war that was based on lies? If they reinstate the draft it could be gloom and doom for you, if you are young enough because you could have to go to the Middle East and die in this war.

The party out of power must always put the worst possible slant on any event or policy of the party in power. If things are going
good why would anyone want to change who is in charge?

How about go to their sites and see what their current legislation they are working on is. That will give you an idea of the issues. Their speaches are for the people who want to hear that their candidates are listening.

I agree, even when things are good they want to make it bad. I would think like when they say the economy is better it would be good news but they don't see it that way. Yet as you have said they have no plan of their own.

Certainly you don't expect them to say that the Republicans are doing a fine job and that you should vote for Bush and the other idiots? Let's face it, they can't solve the problem because they are being paid by the same Zionists who want and need the USA to supply them with weapons and intelligence and have American people fight their wars for them. How many Jews have died in Iraq while they were in American uniform?
