because of their stupid football team, I swear that is all they have. If you ever been to that state, you will notice that the locals are a little bit too crazy for their cornhuskers, they drive red cars, wear red clothing all the time to support that football team, and they call themselves the cornhusker state cause as I said, they are a little bit too crazy for their college football team

I think cornhuskers, are the people that harvest the corn from the fields. Yes, there's a lot of corn being grown in Nebraska.

because they grow a lot of corn there and the people that shuck corn and clean the ears are called cornhuskers, it is a small tribute to the early white pioneers that settled and farmed there
