Here is a method for chocolate, I'm not sure if it will work for hot chocolate, but it is worth a try.

Remove as much chocolate as possible with a dull knife or spoon.

Stain Removal Step 2.

Rinse the stain from the back thoroughly with cold water.

Stain Removal Step 3.

Rub liquid detergent on the stain and allow it to stand for at least 5 minutes.

Stain Removal Step 4.

Soak the stain in cold water for 10-15 minutes or until the stain becomes more loosened. Every three to five minutes, rub the stained area.

Stain Removal Step 5.

Rinse thoroughly.

Stain Removal Step 6.

Repeat until no more chocolate stain can be removed.

Stain Removal Step 7.

If an oily stain remains, add a stain remover stick, gel, or spray. Wash normally.

This will WORK:
Many people have said oxyclean---BUT you have to do this:
Make a paste with it (like others have said) and rub it into the stain.
THEN, fill the bathroom sink with HOT water and one or 2 scoops of oxyclean in the water. Soak the hoodie in the water for at LEAST 4 hours. Overnight is best. Then take it out and wash it in the washing machine. The stain will probably be gone when you take it out of the sink, but you need to wash the oxyclean out so that's why you need to do a machine wash. If you are afraid of your item shrinking, don't submerse the entire thing in the hot water.... just the stained part. I have saved MANY a shirt this way.

SHOUT works like a CHARM. Spray it on the hot chocolate & scrub it with a brush (i use a toothbrush to get out stains, no i dont use the toothbrush on my teeth afterwards) Then spray it some more & leave it in for a few hours, maybe even over night. Wash it off with water the next day or in a few hours. It should work, i dont think hot chocolate is known for staining.

Run hot water (as hot as you can get it) through the back side of the stain to melt it and push it out of the fabric.

Saturate the remaining chocolate stain with household dish detergent and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Gently fold the stained area in on itself and rub the fabric together to agitate the soap and stain, then rinse the area again with hot water. Then throw it in the wash.

Go to the sink wet down the stained area and rub it with soap and water very vigorously but only if it is still wet. Afterward, just through it in the wash on warm cycle

Spray it with Shout or some other stain remover...let the washer fill...add some detergent...as soon as the washer starts to wash, turn it off and let your hoodie soak for about an hour, then resume the cycle.

If you haven't washed it and put it in the dryer, try rinsing it in cold water - then put Dawn dish washing liquid on the stain, let it sit for a hour, then wash it. It will come out. Dawn is great.

Make a paste out of oxyclean and saturate the spot. Let it sit for about 10 minutes then throw it into the regular wash. If it is white, wash according to white directions. If it is colored, use cold water products.

If the hoodie is dark, just run it through the wash. If it's light, then use a stain stick and run it through the wash. :)
