Is there a way to get your text back if you've been filling out an online form and lost the text?

Sometimes I navigate away from an online form or discussion board by clicking a link, and then when I go back to the form by pressing my browser's back button, the text is gone. Is there some way to get this text back, like maybe a ctrl+something command?

Set your browser to open links in a new window.

Or get in the habit of copying your text to the clipboard. (Ctrl A to select all, then ctrl-C to copy, then ctrl-v to paste it.)

Unfortunately, there's no way to recover the lost text if you haven't done anything to copy it.
