How do you get and or buy clothing in Urbz playstation2?

I have the cheats and about 2 grand and am stuck with the same two outfits

u go into the wardrobes or door areas in whatever place

Whatever place you're in you need to go to the clothing shop. You can tell this by the neon spinning shirt above the store. There you can change your whole style. Then when you go from place to place you can go into the wardrobe that's in the rooms where you sleep and change your clothes. You can also buy a wardrobe for your apartment and change clothes there as well.
