Global Warming and the Bush Administration?

Question

Can you give me some of the proposals that President Bush has given to decrease the amount of pollution that Americans make which is just increasing the global warming proccess? Didnt he say something about making cars more energy efficent by 2015 or something. Provided articles would be nice. : )

There are no current proposals from congress yet (there will be once the election heats up), as a country we are doing great with the pollution controlls we have in place. \
Bush wants to be self reliant from foriegn oil, so he challenged the science community for solutions (ethanol, soy, vegitable oils to run cars) also we need to open up Alaska. The US is doing there fare share, we are not the only ones on the planet, what is China and Russia doing for global warming?

Global warming is a hoax. It is a political propaganda toll used by the tree hugging left to scare us into submission. 90 % of the Scientist that where quoted in Al Gore's movie where NOT even climatologists. Also from the 1940's till the 1970's we were told an "ice age" was coming, the reason why??? Higher CO2 levels!! The same reason we are going to have global warming now. Besides all that, I thought the hole in the Ozone layer was gonna' kill us all. The hole that left no blanket of protection between us and the suns radioactive waves. I guess we not only patched that hole up but now we've created a layer of invisable filth on top of it, all in about 15 years? We must be an awesomly powerful species do be able to change things so quickly.

Wow, a hoax? Has anyone noticed how much ice is left at our polar poles??
We haven't lost this much in 1000's of years!!! It's getting worse!
Bush has done a tremendous amount of legislation, but as some pointed out, other countries are now the major contributor to pollution.
Scientists have already pointed out that nothing man made at this point will turn this thing around. The damage is overwhelming and irreversible, but that does not mean we should give up.
Hopefully, mother nature has a way of healing herself, but in the meantime, most of the human race is at risk.
Maybe this is mother natures way of self preservation, get rid of the overwhelming number of humans! Some one or something has to give...

i theory it became into Al Gore, no longer bush who reported this. i do no longer think of the bush administration had something to do with killing polar bears via international warming, and that i do in comparison to bush. Polar bears will hunt from land whilst the seals could flow there to undergo their youthful because of the fact of no ice.

i know i m not answering ur question but i have smth impt. to tell this alexandra person and all those skpetics out there. look here, we have never had a warm cycle this warm ok. look at the temperatures all over the world. and if u can prove that is wrong to me, u win. but i have seen statistics and i believe them. if you brain still doesnt work well then wouldnt u rather save energy anyway rather than saying its a HOAX and cursing yourself later? why not take the chance? it doesn't cost you money....

global warming is al gores ticket to stardom. im in nebraska and were ahving a blizzard in amrch, wind chill is 25 below zero, there aint no global warming here
and BTW humans have only been keeping accurate temperature readings since sometime in the mid or late 1800s. its not possible to detemine such far reaching conclussions based on 150 years or so of evidence, ask any scientist. its NOT possible. there isnt enuf data

While I'm not a Bushbot, I recognize that man-induced global warming is a huge HOAX. We go through warming and cooling cycles. Thirty years ago everyone was going nuts over an ICE AGE. Didn't happen.

mother nature has a way of preserving itelf, the same way we do, what happens when food gets warm for while? it goes bad. what do we do to prevent that,? put it in the refridgerator. the earth will do the same thing when it sarts warming up, its gong to cool itself off, how will it do that? with an ICE AGE.
