(a) CNN has been around for about 20 years

(b) WWF changed to WWE because they were sued by the WWF (Worldwide Wildlife Fund... or something similar to that), and had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Owen Hart's death

(c) I was not watching CNN that night, so I can not answer that for sure... when I got out of work we headed to a bar and were watching ESPN and it was on the regular news. I doubt that it was on the "Breaking News" on CNN however, it did make the regular sports section of the CNN news the next day.

It was on espn and the regular sports section i think though that was so sad to see that happen owen hart had a good future in wrestling and yea vince looked really bad in that he didn't stop it right after that.

Yea the wwf had to change to the wwe because they were sued by the world wildlife federation. Hence the Change. I think now i could be wrong but i think it was something like copyright infringment but whatever it was the wwf (world wildlife federation) was around Long Before and he was sued for using it as well cause they had it first.

First of all; it was on all the regular channels and it was terrible watching the PPV and seeing him fall from the ceiling at Kemper Area in Kansas, MO. CNN was around back inside the CNN Center located in Atlanta, GA.

The reason Vince had to change from WWF to WWE or change period is because WWF initials belong to some foreign country first (I can not remember which country), they sued Vince and won so May 02, WWF became WWE.

I do not recall seeing this story on CNN. However, it was breaking news on all of the regular news channels here in Kansas City. I will never forget that night either.
