I hurt my back really bad a few years ago. Now it hurts most of the time. It really hurts when I have to drive for a long time. Tomorrow I have to make a trip which will take me about 6 hours to drive it. Not including rest stops. Any tips on how to keep the pain down while driving? I don't have a co-driver. It's just me and my two kids.

Do you know of an over the counter pain med that will help-like tylenol or advil, ibuprofen? Then please take some of that at the start of your driving trip. And, take again as directed as needed. Maybe do some stretching exercises before you go, and instead of just rest stops, feel free to get off the freeway once in awhile as needed to stop and stretch and rest a few minutes, standing up. I hope this helps. Take care.
