I have a microwave, a comp. (of course), a phone. But what are other main/big things that I need? I also have a tv, but I need another one that isn't messing up. What size should I get for my room, and should I get two (one for my room and one for the livingroom)?

Get some paper and a pencil or pen. Sit down wherever you are comfortable and write on the paper the room you want to start with-- lets say Kitchen. List under Kitchen what you already have... Then think about sitting in that kitchen and list what comes to mind-- all of it..... you can always delete.....
i.e. you'll need a place to sit or a table to put your coffee on-- and what are you making the coffee in? And what are you stirring the creamer with?-- get the drift? So you'll think about a favorite breakfast-- and what you'll need to prepare that breakfast/lunch or dinner.... don't forget plates and tableware---

After you've listed all you can think of-- ask a friend to do the same then compare lists.

You didn't mention budget.... that is certainly a consideration. You will GENERALLY find the least expensive sheets/towels et cetera at Wal-mart-- but not always-- so shop around.... and be sure and check out ads.... most stores have what are called "loss leaders".... they are cheaper than other places because they are willing to lose money to get you in the store...... the trick is to buy just the loss leaders and go home!

For hard goods-- plates, forks, spoons-- go to the dollar stores-- each has a different quality goods. You'll want to change all that in the future-- so don't soak your week's salary in something you'll change probably within a year.....

Good luck-- give yourself some time to find what you really want....

GE has some great microwaves and ovens. http://products.geappliances.com/ApplProducts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=SPECPAGE&SITEID=GEA&CHANNEL=CH0000&SKU=SCB2001FSS . For a computer, it depends if you want a Dell or an Apple. I strongly suggest Apple computers (www.apple.com) but Dells are good too (www.dell.com). For a phone, Staples has some good ones. I'd only get one TV to start with. Try a place like Circuit City to get one. And get a big flat screen! (as big as you can go with flat screen that stays with in your spending limit). After you settle in, you can decide whether or not to get one for your room. Of course, to watch TV all you really need to do is walk into the other room! Go to Bed, Bath and Beyond to buy towels and bathroom appliances such as a hairdryer, soap holders, etc.
