Are you sure that area of your square is 168? Not 169? If it is a square then there's got to be four equal sides. Area of the square equals length * width. They are equal to each other if it is a square. In order to find on of them, you just square root 168. And you get close to 12.96. Again if the area was 169 you would end up with perfect 13 for your length and width. Anyways to find a perimeter you add up all the sides or this this case you multiply 12.96 by 4 because you have a square. Solution: 12.96 * 4 = 51.85. The perimeter of the square is 51.85. I hope that helped.

if the area is 168 and the shape is a square, divide 168 by 4. Then multiply the quotiont by four and you will get the perimeter. So the answer would be 168.

A = lw = 168
P = 2l +2w

But for a square the length is the same as the width so, l = w, therefore

P = 2w + 2w = 4w

and

A= w* w = w^2

w^2 = 168
w = sqrt(168)
p = 4w
p = 4 sqrt(168)

Simplified slightly
p = 8 sqrt(42)

A=168
Area of a square= side by side

So a side of the square is the root of 168

Perimeter= root of 168 by 4

Each side is sq rt 168 = 2 sq rt 42

Perimeter = 4(2 sq rt 42) = 8 sq rt 42

how squares have the same length , on all sides, A=bh , so b and h are the same obtain the root of 168 = to 12.95 after that sum this measure four time , u obtain 51.8u

first, since L x W= A find the two factors who combined total equal 168. that is the length and width. then add l+w+l+w (length plus width plus length plus width) wich equals perimeter.

x^2 = 168
x = sqrt(168)
x = 4sqrt(42)

P = 4x

P = 4(4sqrt(42))
P = 16sqrt(42)
