Yes, the Knicks are a great team. The reason they are struggling somewhat this season is because they are a very young team, and this is the first year this team has coalesced. Success doesn't happen overnight, if you look at previous young teams that became top contenders, none of them just sprang up to winning 50-60 games a season over the course of one year. The Knicks are coming off a nightmare season under Larry Brown, so it takes time to mentally move forward. Isiah Thomas believes in his players and has gotten them to believe in themselves. The Knicks will continue to improve, and they will find consistency. This team has already proven that they can beat anyone. They are going to make the playoffs this year, and in the coming years they will be a championship team. We have a lot of great core players who are young and will be there a long time. So the glory days are coming for the Knicks.

Im a huge Knick fan & i gaurantee you, the Knicks are making the playoffs!!! I really think they will pass the Nets and Heat. Even with their 3 best players NJ has not done well at all. Every time i watch 1 of their games, i always see Carter taking that half court 3 pointer to win the game in the final seconds. Like C'mon!!! Try to tie it, not win. He hardly ever makes it!!! The Heat aren't going anywhere this season. Shaq has proved he's too old to carry a team like he used to & Wade is probably gonna consider having season ending surgery to repair torn cartilage in his left shoulder. Why is everyone bitching about how Wade cried??? Everyone cries!!! Jason Williams has not helped the Heat this year and neither did Payton (A Worn out Glove). Too many injuries for them this year. The knicks are 2 games behinde NJ & Heat & they have 27 games left this season. 20 of which are against teams below 500, if they can start dominating on that, then they will make noise in the playoffs!!!
LET'S GO KNICK'S!!!

It's very possible. As we speak, they are only 2 games out of the 8th spot. Even perennial Eastern Conference doormats Charlotte and Atlanta have an outside shot (both 4.5 games out of 8th place) The Knicks have a good a chance as any of those teams to be in the playoffs. I believe the Heat will end up on the outside looking in, but it may be New Jersey in the playoffs and not New York.

No because miami's still got Shaq whose better than anyone on the knicks. Miami's got proven vetrans like Payton and Alonzo. They've been to the finals last year so they know what it takes. Miami will def. be in the playoffs.

The Knicks won't, but the Nets will... even though that Kidd and Carter aren't happy to be in New Jersey, they will still work together to get into the playoffs
