in his will,mr.moneybag left 25% of his estate to his wife and unevenly divided the balance between his son and daughter.if the son received $36,000 as his share,what was the total value of the estate?

well if the remainder was UNevenly divided you cannot determine that.

However, if it was evenly divided here is how it goes:
they each would have 36,000 dollars.
that's 72,000...which is 75% of it all.
so divide it by 3 to see what 25% would be.
that comes to 23,000...
so then add it up.
$72,000 + 23,000 = $95,000

well, son got $36000. so daughter also got $36000 which means a total of $72000 is already spent.



Wife gets 25% ; so the rest 75% is for son and daughter.

now 75% is 72000. So total, i.e. 100% is $96000 . Don't forget to ask me if you need further assitance ;-)

you can unevenly divide 75% an infinite number of ways. You need more information

let me tell you use the operation ratio and proportion formula..yu know........
100%=x
25%=$36
then cross multiply
