Coming out of the woodwork everywhere, the bandwagon is full. Just look at the all-star voting, nothing better to do in that sad a$$ city I guess. 4 years ago, was there a such thing as a Sabre fan?? Where were you all then?? This is not intended for every Sabre fan, I am sure some of you date back to the french connection but I am sick of hearing all this Buffalo is so good.
I hate to burst your bubble but this team is not built for the play-offs-they are too soft. I would bet my life they won't win nada. They have NEVER won anything in that god awful city and the futility will continue. Thoughts?? BTW, I can back up my thoughts on why they are not a play-off team-small and quick wears down in a 7 game series. Injury prone. Like how you all say how most of these guys will be back for the play-offs-THEY ARE OUT FOR A REASON- they are small and injury prone-especially their key guys.

Some teams have their fans support them through thick and thin. Heck, look at the Leafs. The Flyers are still drawing more than half the teams in the league and I see plenty of Flyers fans posting. Never used to see Buffalo fans though.

No. I am a (ugh) Flyers fan.

JK-it is obvious you are not Canadian, because in Canada and U.S. "hockey" cities IT IS RELIGION. Like soccer in Europe.

Let's be fair, you find them on every team in every league.
All of a sudden everyone is a Penguins fan, Where are all the Avalanche fans? Where are all the Red Wings fans? What really bothers me is the fact that most of the fans here jump ship at the weakest moment. What is even more sad is the fact that anyone who actually defends themselves and their bad teams they get picked on even more. Let's be realistic.. There can be only ONE best per year. that makes for a LOT of almost teams. Does this mean that a person who cheers for a team that DIDN'T come in first can't cheer for his/her team. grow up people. I'd rather see someone defend their team regardless. I'd like to hear from Flyers fans who still love the orange and black. I'd love to hear from fans who are proud to call themselves Coyote fans or even Rangers fans. Don't let these idiots who hide behind 23 championships from umpteen years ago bully you into believing they are the only team worth mentioning. I for one am sick of it.
How many years have passed since the Habs won the cup? GEE that long ago? get over yourselves.. You have a good team, but the fact of the matter is YOU DIDN'T beat the Hurricanes last year.. maybe you live in an alternate universe where the Habs do win every year.. but that's not in our reality. Maybe you did win 23 championships.. that was a long time ago.. and Maybe the Leafs WON'T win another cup SO WHAT! We are in the here and now, Last time I checked the Canadiens aren't defending the stanley cup.. hate to burst your little bubble.

The fair weather fan has been given a bad name.

It's netertainment, not a religion. Though some people, sadly, treat it like a religion. But it's not. For a fan, it's entertainment. If you want to be a hardcore fan, go ahead. You wanna be a bandwagon fan, fine by me.

Besides, even a dedicated fan doesn't normally get as excited about a 12th place team as they do about a first place team.

DETROIT TIGERS!!!! I dont think Ive ever seen so many fair weather fans in my life. It seemed as if they had the more fans than any other baseball team last year. I know some of them had always been fans, and it was an embarresment to admit it for the past couple of years, but In Michigan, you had to arrive 2 hours ealry to the bars during the playoffs just to get a table.

The fans were there, proves how little you know about the area and the people that live in the area. Let me guess you're some sort of Dallas fan right? Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys? Talk about BANDWAGON! And I am proud to be a Danny Gare, Jim Schoenfeld, Don Luce fan. Not just the French Connection.
Golisano has brought pride back to a team that 4 years ago was being run into bankrupcy by the Rigas family. I'm not a big hockey fan, but they are my hometown team.

Wow, you sound just like the "experts" that were describing the Indianapolis Colts back in November. Even the same reasoning - Here's to the year of the little city!

Lets try.... just because buffalo is murdering every team in the NHL and thier players are just better than yours doesnt mean you have to flip out . Im not from the bandwagon and there is more to do in Buffalo than watch and play hockey so watch your mouth. You think just because buffalo has teams playing cheap shots on them they are weak. Think again. Because Conolly, paille and hopefully Gaustad will be back for playoffs . So well see you there man.

I find most of the Buffalo fans on here ask questions like Who is the hottest, Who is the cutest..

I can tell you which ones are the biggest pu $$ ies tonight....

and by the way, Dallas vs Buffalo, Hull in the crease..the goal counted, get over it...

Buffalo owns nobody..they are pansies....The Sensa owned them all season with the exception of that last game....
