A big question for a civilization older than any in Europe.
Some answers: the Taj Mahal, birthplace of Hinduism and Buddhism and the Sikh religion, Gandhi, spices (especially black pepper and cinnamon), the Indian elephant, and of course, highly educated workers who work harder and cheaper than Americans do.
