slope intercept form is y = mx + b
-- where m is your slope and b is your y-intercept
you already have m, so all you have to do is plug in x and y to find b
-- m = 3/2 ; x = 4 ; y = 6
-- 6 = 3/2 * 4 + b ; solve for b
-- 6 = 3 * 2 + b ; reducing the 4 and 2
-- 6 - 6 = 6 - 6 + b ; subtracting 6
-- 0 = b
then you just plug m and b in to get your equation
answer : y = 3/2 * x + 0 or y = 3/2 * x

well, since slope intercept is y=mx+b, you'd just fill in the numbers
*(x,y) is (4,6)
*m=3/2 or 1.5
*b=0 (doesn't have to be written in)
*6=3/2x4+0 or 6=1.5(4)

(slope-intercept form) y=mx+b
6=3/2(4)+b
6=6+b
0=b
y=3/2x+0

first put it in point slope.
point slope is y-y1=m(x=x1)
where y1 is a y coordinate and x1 is an x coordinate and m is the slope.
y-6=3/2(x-4) substitute
y-6=3/2x+6 simplify
add 6 to each side
y=3/2x+12 solved.
