Rent or Grease?

I like Rent better, but that's just my personal preference. It really depends what's more your style.

Rent was better on stage. Grease made the better movie and it will be around for a long time. Some people consider it a classic.

i like them both, though i do lean more towards rent now than i did when i was younger. the music of rent is modern and can relate to more people than grease. but grease has a fun story to tell, and it's really easy for the songs to get stuck in your head.

i liked Rent the most but Grease is really good too. I think you should watch both because Rent shows New york city kind of musical and Grease shows Happy Day kind of musical.

I love both of them, but they both have to be during the correct setting.
Rent: I love rent as a play. It is a beautifully done theatre production with amazing songs and an interesting theme. Have you ever seen the movie though? Not so great. I turned it off near the end... (and still listen to the cd....!)
Greece: I love greece as a movie. It has an interesting plot, well-known songs and issues that are still relevent today. However, the play for this is absolutely HORRIBLE! I would never see it again. Greece was made as a movie for a reason!
In the end, Rent is a better stage musical and Greece is a better movie musical. One is not better than the other.

Depends on what you like.Rent is a little more serious and deals with some scary subjects.Grease is more of a fun kinda musical.I personally like Grease better but they are both good musicals.

I enjoyed Rent much more, though I saw it twice. The cast makes all the difference. When they change particular people it seems to either take away or add to it. In my case it took away.
Grease the show was okay, but I think that because I saw the movie first so it didn't really make a Huge fan out of me.
