Get ovulation test strips or a fertility monitor (clearblue easy fertility monitor) so you know when you ovulate and have the best chance of conceiving..I use the clearblue monitor..its great...gives you a digital read out so you dont have to play guessing games by reading a strip...tells your range of fertile days...I love it....or you can chart your basal temps and cervical mucous...Hope it happens soon! Good Luck!

My husband and i are currently trying to conceive. The best advice i can give you is go to a fertility speacialist before you try anything else. You may be surprised how affordable it all can be if you do your research. It really doesn't cost that much to find out if theres a problem... only to "fix" the more extreme of the problems. It really helps knowing why your not getting pregnant rather than just takeing an uneducated guess. I had laproscopy surgery to ensure "everything" was working properly (witch was covered on my insurance) and now i'm starting clomid to help me ovulate on monday (clomid is one of the meds that most insurance companies do cover as well) so basically all i'm paying is about $75.00 a month + meds. Thats less than my phone bill!! The advice that everyone else gave was good advice too, my dr. has me charting my basal temp everymorning (make sure to take it at the same time before you get outta bed or move about), then do all the normal things like get a sperm analysis for your husband, make sure he doesn't drink, smoke, wear tighty whities, or take x-tra hot baths anything that can reduce his sperm count. Oh another thing my dr. told me to do is during your peak rabbits can also wear his "little guys" out. Good Luck to you.

Although I have heard that ovulation predictors work, a more cost effective way of checking for ovulation is to take your temperature at the same time every morning. Leave a thermometer at your bedside and take it before your feet even hit the floor. Write down or graph your daily temps, when you see a rise of a degree or more chances are you are or will soon ovulate. Also the discharge that you experience throughout the month is an excellent indicator of ovulation. When your are getting ready to ovulate it becomes clear and stringy like corn syrup. All of these things can be researched online, look for basal body temperature...rather than spending money on costly predictors try this and save for the new baby you are sure to concieve.

When I had trouble getting pregnant, I got advice from my mother-in-law who told me that she too couldn't get pregnant after 8 years of trying after she had her son. She told me to take hot baths or douche in Epsom Salt. I tried this after 3 years of trying and low and behold the next month I was pregnant! It is a healing salt that can unblock tubes. I believe that God puts natural cures here for us, but we tend to believe the Doctors who are here to make money and push all these unhealthy drugs on us! Give this old remedy a try and see if it works for you, and if it does pass it on to others who so desperately want to have a baby..........
