I think the best role he played was in Forest Gump. Any others ?

It would have to be either Forrest Gump or Saving Private Ryan.
I don't think anyone could have played Gump as well as he did, and Private Ryan was such a departure from anything he'd ever done.
I'd say Tom Hanks, Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington and Anthony Hopkins are the best actors alive right now. Sean Penn and Tom Cruise are good, but not in the same league as the other 4.

That's a hard one! I can't pick one because he is so talented.
Some of my favorites though are "Big", "Castaway", and "Philadelphia".

That's tough...Castaway was EXCELLENT, but he was really moving in the Green Mile as well...
