I was married for 38 years and in love with what he could have been and what we could have had.

Regularly, it's ok to fall for someone else. Falling in love is a fantastic feeling and it is possible to be in love with more than one person. the problem you face though is your guilt, that you have affections for someone other than your partner. But as long as your strong and don't do anything to take further steps and create a sexual relationship you will work through it. Remember you can love other people, you can fall in love with other people, it's the physical stuff that gets you divorced. Your wife will probably already have seen signs that something is up, so if she asks be honest but not blunt, tell her you have a friend your fond of, tell her why you like her, unless its a physical attraction, women dont like that. Finally you need to know if its really love your feeling, you could be mis-interpreting someones attentions into more than it is.

I was married but my husband was in love with someone else. Marriage fell apart, and along the way I fell in love with someone new. Divorced the first guy and married the second. Still in love. The End.

I am married but, I only love him. That's doesn't mean when a certain song or I see someone from the past I don't kinda wonder what it would have been like, but, I think that is only normal!

nope.... I'm not married and I'm not in love with someone else.... thanks for asking! but I'm taken and in love with him! and if you feel that way you need to talk to your wife. my parents divorced because my dad was in love with someone else and now they both found better partners for each other.
