Im not a prejudice person racist or whatever we white people are supposed to be. But i see no reason for me or anyone else to apologize to anyone for something our ancestors where responsible for. especially the circumstances that goes with it. who are we suppose to apologize to. there is a lot of blacks who never had relatives here back then. also their own ancestors had slaves so are the blacks living today are they apologizing for their ancestors for owning slaves or is it just the white people who are suppose to apologize? again im no racist but i do not owe no man or woman an apology for something my ancestors may of been responsible for.

I don't think you're racist, and I agree. My people, ( the Irish) were mistreated for 1000 years by the Brits. I don't feel they owe us an apology; furthermore, look how many white people worked, and risked there lives to free slaves. John Brown was one of the most influential civil rights activists of all time, and he was white.

Oh ok, well there goes my well thought out paragraph, lol

You know, this wouldn't have been a problem if Virginia had apologized when slavery was over and when the actual black slaves were there
