Oh, please. There are men wearing leggings as I type.

That's not the issue: Will it catch on? Will it become
sufficiently common for guys who wouldn't be caught
dead in anything vaguely associated with women's clothes?

Its pretty rare that traditional women's clothing appears
on the other gender - indeed the only exception I can
remember is the earring.

Remember when the New York fashionistas were
saying that men would carry pocketbooks and/or fanny
packs?

Sure, there are men who do, but those men are
pretty secure with their masculinity (indeed, some
are so secure, they are working on conquering their
femininity).

Take it from a guy OK ..I will not carry a "man" purse nor will I wear "leggings" .......to a real man this B.S. called "metro sexual" is nothing but a politically correct name for Gay ..If I ever see a guy carrying a purse or wearing leggings I will refer to him as Miss. ,or Ma ' am to his face... That stuff may fly in New York but then again I do not ever see N.Y fashion anywhere else ..and I have been to all 48 ..

i doubt if men would ever wear them in public. but it is well known among professional football players that most of them wear ladies pantyhose during times when it is very cold during game play. it keeps there legs alot warmer.
