It is a dorsal fin of a shark and it is way to big to be a dolphin also they hunt and feed in packs sharks dont.

Dolphins occasionally join surfers in the waves, and surf too! Sometimes it is reported that a dolphin allows a swimmer to take hold of the dorsal fin, and gives the swimmer a ride.
