I've had the oppurtunity to see all 3 play. (Justin Upton twice)

Alex Gordon is definately the most advanced of the three, but he is also 3 years older the McCutchen and 4 years older then Upton.

Right now it looks like Alex Gordon will be the better player.
However i don't think Gordon was as far along 4 years ago as Upton is now, so that's a tad encouraging.

Regardless i'm going with Gordon, i think he's the real deal.
Another man to pay attention to is Phil Hughes... That guy is sensational

I would trade Pujols for Santana-best pitcher and best hitter yes, but good hitting 1st baseman are a dime a dozen and staff aces are not. Howard may be just as good a pure hitter anyway-he is the MVP. So much for the sophmore jinx after the rookie award. Almost every team has a 1st baseman that is a slugger. The difference between a Delgado, Morneau, Ortiz, Howard, Konerko, Garciaparra, Helton, Berkman is not that far off from Pujols. Plus up and comers like Thorman, Fielder etc. Heck, I would Edmonds to 1st and be much better off with Santana and Carpenter. That's 2 almost for sure wins every 5 days with or without Pujols.

Philip Hughes over Alex Gordon because Philip is on the Yankees who will give him run support and will make him a champion. Alex Gordon is on the Royals- enough said. PLus a pitcher is worth more than a hitter.

"a pitcher is worth more than a hitter" >Must be why the Yankees took a super star pitcher(some guy named Babe Ruth) and put him in the outfield...And, that was when pitchers went to the mound every 3 or 4 days not every 5th day like they do now.

Johan Santana is the best pitcher in baseball, Albert Pujols is the best hitter. I would not trade Pujols for Santana!

Alex Gordon is the next, (ex)Royal star..>He would look good in Red.

Of your 3, Alex Gordon - he has the skills and talent. I can't wait until KC develops him and loses him in free agency to a MLB team.
