1. Kansas - If Sherron Collins can get it going, and Julian Wright can keep it going, they won't lose.

2. Ohio St. - Greg Oden is one heck of a freshman, and the second best player in the country.

3. North Carolina - A young team, lots of potential to do great things.

4. Texas - Kevin Durant is the best player in the country. They beat a very good Tex A&M team, and fell just short to an even better KU team.

5. Tex A&M - Acie Law can carry this team for a long time. They beat a great KU team, and took Texas into double overtime.

Georgia Tech - i'm from atlanta
UGA - theyre home team too
Georgia State - my school lol

edit:
If you mean top as in best, I have been keeping track of all teams this year by giving them a chess rating. Here are my top 5 ratings.
#1 UNC (24-4) - 2295. 8 quality wins including Ohio State, Arizona, Kentucky, Duke
#2 Kansas (25-4) - 2225. 6 quality wins including Florida, USC, Boston College
#3 UCLA (25-3) - 2220. 10 quality wins including Texas A&M and Kentucky
#4 Florida (25-4) - 2180. 5 quality wins including Ohio State and Vanderbilt
#5 Wisconsin (26-3) - 2175. 4 quality wins including Ohio State, Marquette, Pittsburgh

ratings take into account wins, losses, opponent strength, conference strength, margin of victory, and a few other intangeables.
