Britney is in rehab for an addiction to alcohol,cocaine,and painkillers.

I think she is in rehab for the same reason so many famous people go. She has been behaving badly and doing embarrassing, foolish things. If she goes into "rehab", she can blame her "addictions" for her irresponsible behavior. Going to "rehab" is a celebrity's/politician's way of becoming almost "blameless" and making fans excuse their behaviour. Don't get me wrong, I realize celebs are human too, I just wish they would occasionally "fess up" and take responsibilty.

I think its a mix of drugs,deppresion, Paris H, the whole Federline thing, and not to mention thee two babies that want their mouth filled every 3 hours,
but I dont know. It could be anything. :o|

Depression, shes probably been self medicating and as you can see she is screwed at the mo. Good luck to her!!Hope she ends up ok.

She entered rehab because she will learn how to get back to normal .

I don't know what it was for but I do know that she IS there again for 3rd time. Probably both, no offense to her though!
