my baloons usually last for a couple of days after my party. i like to leave my half floating baloons around my house because they are fun to kick around then after a few days i pop them.

We ususally get them filled the day of the party so they won't go down before we need them to. For my teen daughter's parties, the kids usually have some sort of balloon popping contest or something. They take turns running to a designated line and sit on them to pop them. If there are ever any left after a party, we just pop them and get rid of them. Some of the kids will try breathing in the helium usually, even if I don't really like them to.

I used a straw and blew into the balloons that fell before the party (not latex ones but one of the silver ones.) The balloons lasted a few hours like that.

Hold their string and talk to them until they have stop floating at all, is'nt that nice. Then throw the balloon which has returned to its beginning state into the waste basket, out of respect for your rubber friend.

You can have them refilled with helium for around a dollar. After the party, suck the helium and talk like the munchkins.

We usually untie the knots, breathe the helium, and sound like the Chipmuncks.
