As for combining the universal remote with cell phone, that's a good idea, I don't think it has been done.

phone/remote would be sweet. Or even an attachment to the phone or an attachment to an mp3 player. And a remote finder will be standard i think in the not so far future.

Or how about a radio transmitter on the remote and three receivers in your house that locate it... :D

:) i'd never lose my remote again...why would you have a universal remote in your cell phone though? so you can change your neighbor's channels while pretending to talk on your phone?

that is an amazing idea since i always lose my remote, and if the remothe was in my fone that would be good since i always no where my phone is
