From observation of galaxies and galaxy clusters, astronomers have found the the universe is growing and at a faster and faster rate. In other words, the universe is making more and more space for itself to grow into. No one knows what is outside space although string theory postulates that there are other dimensions that space is growing into.

The universe is like a hurricane it started from a wisp grew to a roaring maelstrom then faded out of existence.
The universe is finite it must end sometime.

It goes outward until it can't go any further, then it falls back to the start of things.

That's the theory, at least.

We, however, will never see it.

if you think about it...if space is infinantly great...thne its not going out at all...space doesnt focus around us...we are jsut a spec in the universe...space is an endless plane going in every direction...its not going outward...unless your making planet earth the center....

thats my opinion...
