Okay, My girlfriend was on the pill (birth control) for about a year... she then stopped taking it for a week without telling me, and then started again, mid-cycle... Later that same week, we had sex, again because she didn't tell me she stopped for a week. Now her period was SUPPOSED to come yesterday, but she says it was delayed for 2 weeks cuz she started the pill mid-cycle. She said that yesterday she was having VERY bad cramps... and thought she might be pregnant (Are early cramping a sign of pregnancy? :S) She then told me there was a little blood later... Now she texted me today saying she feels like **** and that something is seriously wrong... what is going on with her? What could it be?

um, pregnancy is certainly a possibility but it isn't the only possibility. Have her take a test. better yet, have her see a doc. he'll do a quick test and if it's not that he can help her figure out what's wrong. cramping and spotting can be signs of pregnancy but they can also be caused by the birth control she is on, especially if she was off it and then back on it. hormones in those things can really mess withyour body if they are misused. good luck.

She needs to have this evaluated by a dr.
