Are you saying that after having 100's of thousands of professional American Soldiers search Iraq for the +100's of tones of weapons that they were told were the reason they were there, and had to wear the bloody chem war suits doing, that they didn't look hard enough???

Have some respect, they looked, hard, it was in their interest to find something and the best they could find was a biological, Weather Ballon making truck..... Wakey Wakey,

First Dragon,

They looked both for the wepons, the people who could have made them (scientists, techs), and infrastructure, nothing predated the weapons Chenny delivered.
There was a guy name Chabli buddy of bush, he said they had them too, now he works for Iran,
Do some home work, 99 lines for you

Dusty I am glad that a bush apologist can type, but you should learn to think more clearly

Are you denying that Chinny sold and had delivered to Saddam WMD?? That's in the public record,, sure they may have only been able to aford old soviet arty to put it in, but it was american chemistry ala the reps. The 500 shells may have been antique soviets but the nasty stuff inside our own reps sold them. The only bio-wepons they found were trailers for making weather ballons,,,,, You have the same habbit bush does massage the evidence untill it fits what you belive. Check your reality, it's TV

Unfortunately, you are incorrect. Naively so, but incorrect. Where do I start?

First and foremost, Saddam Hussein was a Soviet weapons buyer. he bought Mig-21s, T-72s, and AK-47s. He did not buy F-4's, M60's, and M-16's.
Thus, his military (mostly Soviet, some European stuff) would be incapable of using American munitions. Try pounding a square peg in a round hole, and you'll get the picture.
To further debunk some of your earlier statements, Saddam Hussein's chemical weapons program was almost entirely of German technology with Yugoslavian know-how. In fact, there are many comparisons between Iraq's chemical weapon program and Yugoslavia's "Little Hawk" program of the 60's through 80s.

As far as WMD's NOW, like the 500 munitions we did find? Quoting John Chu, the United States Army chemical-weapons expert, ""These are chemical weapons as defined under the Chemical Weapons Convention, and yes ... they do constitute weapons of mass destruction," Army Col. John Chu told the House Armed Services Committee."
Concerning Saddam's bio-weapons program, it was confirmed he was still in low-level development of Intelligence level Bio-weapons. Not anything deliverable by cannon-shell or spray apparatus, but by injection, cut, or vapor-released. This still has significant importance, as the death of certain individuals in ANY country would be a nation-security threat.

Sorry.

In response to author's rebuttal: As i've shown, no. Saddam Hussein's chemical weapon program was YUGOSLAVIAN. German technology (Asia Times link) and Yugoslavian know-how. (NTI link)

Am I denying that Cheney sold Iraq weaponry? Indeed. Cheney in the 1980s wasn't even in the Executive Branch, he was a congress member in Wyoming. How can a Congress member sell weaponry? Simply put, he can't. When you claim "public record" that is an outright lie. There is not a SINGLE documented weapon going to the Iraqi military. Even the Riegel report stated Saddam Hussein had to import US-made Dual-Use materials (non-military) to be perverted by his industries INTO weapons. Simply receiving natural bacterium or micro-computers is hardly weaponry. They have to be adapted from civilian use to military use. To put into perspective, Saddam Hussein would have to weaponize everything he got. That would be similar to blaming Toyota for selling pickup trucks, that will eventually be turned into gun-totting vehicles in Somalia. Your logic simply fails.

So in review; Saddam's military is Soviet. He got nothing from the US that was weapons, or weaponized materials.

This is where you provide ANY form of proof. Everybody below sees my links, where are yours?

Try again.

You know, I've wondered is even Sadam thought they existed, but they really didn't. He had people killed for far lesser reasons, would you want to be the one to tell him the weapons program was not on track? I can just see everyone lying to him about what weapons were available just to save their own hide.

Georges Sada, former general under Saddam, says they did, and that they were sent away before the invasion. I think it is possible, but I don't know.
