I have always been taught that 15% is a an expected tip in any food service situation. You can always tip more. I mean if the pizza cost $10.00 and you cough up $1.50 for a tip that is the 15%. Delivery persons depend on tips as part of their pay.

Just as much as I tip taxi drivers and waiters--- 15%. I think that's a little high to tip a pizza guy, and most people don't tip that much, but I do because I'm not sure what you should tip.

I always tip $10. People think that it's too much, but the pizza guy has to climb, like, 4 flights of stairs to get to my penthouse.

I order from Papa John's. They are a block away. They charge $1.50 for delivery and I tip $1.50 - $2.00 (depends on cash on hand and total.). Thank you for asking this question. I was wondering if I was tipping enough. Bad weather and holidays of course I tip more. Maybe $4 - $5.
