I have a boy..... Actually, I have 3 boys!

~My 7 year old boy plays barbies and paper dolls with my 6 year old daughter. This is very normal for boys who have a sister around the same age. He plays with Ken and Erik. Ken is Barbies long time boy-toy, and Erik is actually disneys Prince Erik from the little Mermaid. NO, the boy dolls arent his.
~Make up? He loves make up..... BUT> He will put a lightening strike on his forehead like Harry Potter has. He has in the past put make up on his sister.
~He is not going to be gay! He is very much a G u y ... Hes great at sports, rides a dirt bike, loves to get dirty and muddy!
~He has tons of male friends and tons of female friends.~

Just because boys play dolls and makeup doesn't mean they will turn out to be gay!You will know if they are gay or not, wouldn't you.... There would be some sort of solid evidence to support your insecurity about this situation!

R e l a x man! ~♥~

i would make him eat sand...

just kidding...kids will be kids....

if i knew of someone's lil boys playing with dolls and make up, i'd look at the parents to find the root of the problem...

just kidding...parents will be parents...

I'd probably just start spending more quality time with my son and show him how to be a real man instead of showing him how not to act like a girl. I'd get him interested in sports and be there for his games or tournaments and "accidently" leave playboy magazines laying around....that is if i don't have a daughter close by...lol..

P.S.
If I were choosing a best answer, I would choose the 18th guy who posted an answer because he has the best answer by far so far...he gets it; he's gonna be a good father. To all the others who disagree with the 18th answer and to all who gave him a thumbs down, you are probably sad that you were never taught those things by your dad and never had anything in common with real men or can't get any REAL women and don't understand why!!!!!

Yes.
One year my two older sons actually asked for Barbie dolls for Christmas. My husband and I argued about it extensively, but they did end up getting them. After a week they were no longer interested because their curiosity about what the big deal of having a Barbie was satisfied. And there they are now, big, loving, wonderful young men that any mothere would be proud to have.

As maximum people reported already, this is basically society. As a boy, 15 years in the past, i did no longer rather look after maximum customary boy toys, yet regrettably I even have an relatively macho masculine father so i basically had rapid looks on the IMO lots greater cuter women toys interior the keep. regrettably, even between 5 and 10 i understood people (and my father) could be against the assumption, for the reason that he continually already hated my "non masculine attitudes". I bear in mind that when, my mom ultimately offered me one polly pocket, a valuable christmas one that made song, that's genuinely considered one of the sole toy of my early existence i'm able to bear in mind of course, which instruct how specific it became into to me. those days, as as person, I even have in no way rather replaced, case in point, i'm no longer afraid to confess i could purchase a sort of beautiful purple telephone in a heartbeat if it wasn't for society, however the element is that i be attentive to i'm going to have issues looking a job for something as stupid as this, so i won't do it.

Are you serious? Being gay has a lot more to do with neurology than playing with certain toys and wearing make up.

How many manly actors do you know wear make up.

How much different are GI Joes than Barbie - a different mold with slightly different proportions and different hair.

Don't all children cut out snowflakes.

Read a few books. Learn a little about biochemistry and brain function and then figure it out.

Yes your son can do al the above. My son did all that at 3 yrs and he is 11 now and has a g/f. So it is ok for him to play with barbies and such.

I think if he is visiting with friends or cousins and that's what the other kids are playing with and he's playing with them, yes, I would let him. At home, I would make sure he had gender appropriate toys and plenty of outside activities to focus on.

why not? that means you'll never have to tell him to clean up his room and he'll more than likely be well off and never ask you for anything. thats at least if you want to generalize. by the way these days gays do have children....ps. gay runs in my family and those have turned out to be the most successful and happy. to me that would be more important than having a million annoying grandkids.
