Note - if you 'WERE' some-one elses glasses you would feel strange as you would BE the glasses.Correct spelling is WEAR some-ones glasses.
When you see - lots of things happen in your eyes.
For example as you read this writing, the lens in your eye has adjusted to see things closely and brightly. Now look out of the window - your eyes adjust to see things far away in a different light.
This is good. My old eyes can do the close-up thing but do not do the far away thing as well.
If your friend needs glasses they have an eye problem but fortunately the glasses help the lens adjust.
If you have good sight your lens does the work correctly.
Put on the glasses and your lens will learn to adjust differently.
Take off the glasses and your eyes need some seconds to adjust.
Wear the glasses too long and your lens could forget how to adjust correctly and you have caused PERMANENT lens damage -OH dear.

I don't think it will do any harm to your eyes. It may make you dizzy and your eyes hurt, though. Depends on how similar your eye problems are.
