How many eyes does a dragonfly have?

Are they simple or compound eyes? Who says the questions are useless?

Two. However, each eye is composed of a large number of facets. Each facet (of which there may be dozens), sees a different image.

They have two compound eyes and I think a pair of simple eyes.
