Sadly, exotic dancers are often thought of as slutty people. The truth is usually that exotic dancers just need some money. I think if you like it, stick with it until you have enough money to do something else. For the guys, if they look at you, just roll your eyes and scrunch up your nose in disgust. Then again, the guys come in there to see women exotic dance, so you have to admit, it is hard to avoid.

Consider whether being eyed by dudes is worth the material benefits. It sounds like you already have talents that will enable you to:

- Find satisfying work
- Pay the basic necessity
- Perfect your inherent talents

You might look at a book called "Your Money or Your Life". You can also find a lot of information on the Internet about the topic of voluntary simplicity. Many people have found that fewer material possessions have led to a more satisfying life.

Best wishes in your effort to find the life that is most rewarding to you.

Men are stupid when it comes to scantily clad women. They don't think its just a job to take care of the bills.
What is it you really wanna do w/your life? Dancing is nothing to be ashamed of. It's an honest profession. Give yourself a time limit on how much longer you're going to do this. Save up as much $$ as you can from dancing and move on to something more fulfilling. Go back to school if you want. You could probably even teach exotic dancing at The Learning Annex. Lots of women and even a few men will pay to learn.

The strippers that I know personally don't even think that way. Yes the money is great, they really have a great time with their job. They have good bouncers there to keep everybody in line, NOBODY does anything that isn't invited. One girl put herself through college, now she teaches first grade in a different state. The other still strips full time. You have to decide what it's worth to you.

If you are truly unhappy then quit because no amount of money is worth your sanity. Keep in mind that any job is just that-a job and probaly wont be that fun. If you can stand it a little longer, then save up your money, attend college and put thoses skills to use. You dont have to strip forever.

Yes. Quit stripping and become a prostitute. The pay is better and the hours shorter. To stop dudes from eyeballing you, simply turn off the lights when you do them.

There are other jobs out there.

Quit that one and find one that will surround you with men who will see you with respect as opposed to lust.

Good luck! I know you can do it! :)
