Neutrogena's Skin Clearing Oil-Free Makeup is supposed to help blemishes go away faster, but I used it one day and today I have like 5 pimples (small ones- but 2 bigs ones)...urg! itsn't this supposed to help my skin?....before I used to use Maybelline Pure liquid foundation.....but now I'm going back to it- my face never broke out when I used this foundation and it covers SO WELL!
so why did my face break out with the other one?

Your skin needs an adjustment period to the products in the brand, especially if this is the first time you have used the product. Also, please remember, that mixing brands ( different wash, toner, moisturizer...) can lead to less than desired effects from the product that you are trying. Each product ( in a particular brand line) is designed to work with the other products ) to give you a synergistic effect.
Anyhow, give it time to adjust and you may just get the results you were looking for.

The reason you broke out using it is the same reason why people break out sometimes after using a mud mask. Any bacteria that you have under your skin before starting a new skin care regime has to be drawn to the surface.
Once the initial break out is done the product will in fact do what it claims to do becaue it has to draw out the bad first. Maybe give it another chance.

Neutrogena liquid foundation is supposed to treat blemishes yes, but they also have a lot of fillers. Which can clog your pores.. maybe that is why you're getting breakouts. I suggest sue the company for making you look ugly (say it was for a big huge date with donald trump) and get your money back. Customer satisfaction guaranteed right?

who knows. why do I break out when I use clinique's wash away gel cleanswer but not when I use their rinse off foaming facial cleanser? there could be an ingredient in the neutrogena product that is irritating your skin.

Sometimes it does well on some tpyes skin.I would get proative because I have seen it work an many people.Or you could go to a doctor.
