Yeah, and Humpty Dumpty was pushed. I presume you meant "were" rather than "where." At any rate, not even the creators of the X-Files could've come up with a plan where a government would attack it's own country and then use that as a rationale to start several offensives that still rage on nearly six years later.

There's talk of "how could they find an intact passport in the rubble?" - gee, I dunno. The same way that every now and again, a tornado will destroy a town and one house will be untouched, or a family heirloom will be found undamaged in a home that was destroyed. Strange things happen. It doesn't mean that the government planned it. Or that aliens were involved. Or that the Loch Ness Monster is responsible for boats sinking in the Bermuda Triangle.

And if this was a war for oil, why does it cost me $2.75/gallon to fill my diesel when not five years ago it was $1.60? Not six months ago, I paid over $3/gallon for premium in my motorcycle. All the while, these armpit countries that we're in sell gas for 40 cents a gallon. I'm not that old, but I remember when gas was cheaper than milk.

There may be some valid conspiracy theories out there, but turn off the liberal wackjob media hacks to whom you're listening and apply some logic and reason and learn to think for yourself.

I'd love to know where the Brother-Better-Than-You Jason is from; talk about a pompous foreigner . . . pack your mule and go back to whatever outhouse country you came from.

Definitely yes! The American Government are the ones that planned this whole thing actually let's not blame the gov. The leader (Bush) is the one should be blamed. During when Clinton was running the country is was all safe and nice except until this Monica case came up, but hey, that's his personal problem, nothing to do with the people of the country, he didn't cause any problem to his citizen, no death were reported, was there? Anyway the tape where Osama confessed, is totally fake, how sure are we that he wasn't told by the American Gov. to do so. I mean American are capable bombing they own building to create a war. OK well, if at all it was Osama's doing, he is from Afghanistan why attack Iraq then, The Oil maybe? Let me tell you this, the whole thing was surely planned very nicely so that they can point fingers at a certain country for his (Bush) own benefits. And how sure are we that Osama's identity is real, what if he was hired by the American Government to act it out? And I strongly suggest you to watch Fahrenheit 9/11documentary. All the hidden truth is revealed. Watch it and then judge it for yourself.

I like these yahoo!answers. I had to read the answers of others to on this one. But, I don't think that "OUR" government planned that.
People insists on blaming George W. Bush, for everything that happens. They even blamed him for a hurricane! Didn't anyone pay attention in school. The president has a group of advisers. They expect him to say and do what they want.
It doesn't matter who the president is, he has always, will always get the blame. I don't know who is responsible for the attacks on my country. But, I believe we will find them.
By the way, great question. Too bad Yahoo doesn't give points for best question. We Americans should show respect for our government. I haven't voted for or against any candidate since I've been old enough to vote, so, I don't have a right to complain.
Well, I could go on and on with this, so I'm gonna close with this.
I think that we should live the best we can. Don't listen, better yet, don't believe everything the media is telling us. Support our great troops. They are risking their lives for us. And, help somebody, if you can.

I have heard a lot of conspiracy theories and that takes the cake. I realy dont think so because of the enormouse outrage and fealing towards 9/11. America was horrified and so was the rest of the world. NO I don't think the American Government planned 9/11.

I say that your 9/11 absolutely stinks of conspiracy, the more I read about it , the DVD I have seen points to an inside job.. Here in Australia we had Port Arthur, 10 years ago when one person killed 32 people... I say that stinks of conspiracy also , and what the Government did after the event and how they used it as an excuse for their own agenda.. I find your Government used this (9/11) as an excuse for it's own agenda also.. It's just like who really shot Kennedy all over again... Will we ever know the truth??

i think it's very possible hat it was planned. not sure about it but i wouldn't put anything past W. Bush. He just loves war and all that "good" stuff. Who cares if it's unpatriotic if we don't support bush and the administration. I don't know anyone in their right mind who would.

and what the muslims are doing the uh -- 'carnage' and such, is america not doing the same thing to about every middle eastern country. muslims are fighting for freedom and religious reasons, though i don't support any sort of war -- at least they aren't doing it for money like bush is... let's see ; afghanistan, iraq, iran, i heard about syria and and others. conspiracies are a very reasonable thought! i wouldn't doubt it. and it's not ignorant to beieve it, it's ignorant to 'look the other way' and think everything happens "just because". THE CIA TRAINED BIN LADEN!!!!!

I do not think that it was the government. Ever since the 911 attacks everyone has been against our government since we had to go to war. That is what usually happens after we are attacked. If we did not go to war we would have been mad that we had not gone. The government would not want to do that. Interesting topic however. Keep making questions.

You have got to be on crack! It just completely disgusts me when I hear about this bullcrap conspiracy stuff about 9-11. 19 freaking islamic extremists conducted the terrorist attacks! With bin laden admitting it all on tape! If you think otherwise, get the hell out of this country, you don't deserve to be here. Go move to Tehran!
