Try temp agencies. I have had great luck with them and you can also land permanent jobs through them too. A lot of companies don't usually hire unless you temp for them first and use the agencies as headhunters. That way there is less risk for the company and it is a way for both the worker and the company to see if you and the company are a good match.

That's a place to look other than the local paper. If you can only get a part-time job that's fine. Take what you can get and use your days off to look for full-time work.

More than half of the jobs I've had were ones where they were not advertising or hiring. I chose what I wanted to do, got help from library books in writing a good resume, and went in and sold them on why they should hire me. Managers are impressed by confidence and initiative.

While finding office work can be harder for guys, it will have the best healthcare benefits and pays more than minimum wage. Go to a temp agency. Even if you get a job filing paperwork, it'll pay pretty good. The best job of all is to get one with the county or city. Here's one:

You could do a few things..but first you need to ensure you have health insurance for you, the baby and maybe your future wife. If you join the service, you 'll get benefits, money and an education. Otherwise, get a job anywhere where you'll get benefits...The grocery store will pay benefits if you work fulltime.

If you have a big enough house and love children you could do baby sitting yourself. That way you will be able to care for your own new little precious baby and make some money.

What are you good at? It's always rewarding to do something that we are interested in and good at; not necessarily based on our educational training. For example, you can start a simple bakery business if you can bake delicious patries and cakes. Good luck and take care of your health and the baby's.
