A leather jacket with a rip is a lost case , you can have it sown shut , from the in side and duplicate a same line on the other side just to make it look as it was there originally from the store .

All is not lost. I had a rip on my sleeve and after it was repaired, I couldn't see where the rip had been. Call or ask around about anyone who repairs leather. I took mine to a western store and would do it again if I had to. They did an excellent job.

I had a rip in my leather jacket and I was lucky that the dry cleaners specialized in leather and they repaired it for me.
