Why have the Lakers not parted ways with Kupcak? He hasn't done anything to make this team a forseeable Champion. The deal for Kidd should have been done. He signed Radmonivc and he been a dud why do I need another Big Man that shoot from outside for he should have been in the deal. He made the statement that they would "Entertain a deal for Shaq' and then didn't even get an All-Star for him. The only thing he did was get Kobe to resigned.

Kupchak did an excellent job by not making that trade. If you were a true loyal Lakers fan you would know that too. A Trade involving Bynum is like a direct spit in the face to Kareem Abdul Jabar. If a guy like Kareem can see the potential in Bynum it should be obvious for anyone else to see it as well
Why get Kidd who isn't even 100% and give up Mckie, Bynum, Kwame, Mhim and Farmar?? Think man! Think!
That leaves you with absolutely no Center. No center no big man in the middle. No big man in the middle, No defense!! Without Bynum changing so many shots Lakers wouldn't have the record they do now. They would probably be below .500.
I've been to many Lakers practices prior to preseason and watched Kareem train Bynum, believe me Bynum is the future to the Lakers Franchise.
If they could of done the trade without Bynum then yeah do it asap, but giving up Bynum would be a huge mistake.

Absolutely. He made the decision to ship away O'Neal for a cup of coffee, then he makes no deal after all the hype of the trading deadline and the visions Laker fans had of seeing J-Kidd in the City of Angels. He's done little to make this team better and lots to make it worst. Can him.

I'd agree, he should be dumped. But I think the Shaq trade was not so bad. Lakers got Butler and Odom back. Butler has been awesome this year for the Wiz but unfortunately they dumped him for Kwame aka Bust. Vlad Rad signing was terrible. Although Smush has been solid. Overall poor cap management and trades. He should be fired.

well you butchered his name a couple of times, but i think i know what you're saying...mitch KUPCHAK is the primary personnel man on the team, but jerry buss the owner does some work with personnel also and so kupchak is not completely to blame for some poor moves(i do agree that they made some poor choices by keeping kobe instead of shaq and most recently not being able to strike a deal for jason kidd)

he's the classic example of a guy afraid to make trades cause he doesn't want to get fired.

he'll make the "conservative" move but not try anything risky. Good job trading away a utility player like butler who would thrive with odom and kobe for the eternal bust kwame.

he ought to get fired, they have two great expiring contracts in mihm and mckie, enough to net a real pg to help them.
