I am a pregnt,singl momwith14yr&12mo.old,now facing my 3rd probation viol,4a misdenr parafi chrg aftr probation check @my home.I only have 4 classes left of prop36, testg cln, I go to court in 4 days,I was told auto 6moin jail for 3rd violation of probation. I will loose my housing,my apt, my kids, my job --my life!! is there anything I could do besides run like hell?

Running is THE worst thing to do. If you don't have an attorney, get one! Emphasize the things you HAVE been doing well, and ask the court to give you another opportunity. New P36 law (effective July 1, 2006) allows more than 3 VOP's in Prop 36. Although there is some argument about that, I believe the argument can still be made that you have been testing clean and were not found to be under the influence... which are things in your favor. You didn't say what the VOP was based on... If it's a non-drug related technical violation, then your chances are greater.
Depending on your history with the Courts, they may allow you the opportunity to give P36 one more shot. Or, they may refer you to drug court. If they do that, request residential treatment with permission to be released from jail directly to treatment.
I won't badger you about what today might have been like if you'd made better choices... You already know that.
Oh.. and request a meeting with the P36 case managers and your PO. Plead your case to them as a group... let the Case Managers do their thing... Don't go crazy begging the PO.. just let him/her see how earnest you are about wanting treatment.

it is extremely unhappy and disgusting how one in each and every of those crime is going unpunished,if the motive force had owed funds to some government branch he would have been jailed, yet for taking the existence of a 4 365 days previous he walks loose...the regulation of the land needs to alter faster particularly than later there are too a lot of those scum bags getting away with homicide...you are able to contemplate whether it have been a politicians son that he killed would the end result have been a similar
